Milk is so good for you!!I love it, do you? Do you drink 2%,1% or skim milk?

1 cup of 2% is 122 calories, 4.8 grams of saturated fat, 11.7 grams of carbs and 8.1 grams of protein.

1 cup of 1% is 100 calories, 1.5 grams of saturated fat, 12.2 grams of carbs and 8.2 grams of protein

1 cup of skim is 83 calories, 0.1 grams of saturated fat, 12.2 grams of carbs and 8.3 grams of protein.

if you currently drink 2% and drink 3 glasses a week

366 cals a week =19032 cals a year or  5.4 pounds from milk

if you were to switch to skim at 3 glasses a week

249 a week= 12948 = 3.69 pounds

The simple change of switching from 2% to skim(non-fat) would save you 1.71 pounds a year.

I know it doesn’t seem like much but a loss of 1.71 pounds by making a small change makes a huge difference, and thats only a modest 3 glasses a week. 5 glasses a week is a difference of 2.89 pounds, 7 glasses a week is just over 4 pounds a year.  A whole bunch of small differences can add up to a big one by years end, start making the changes and start seeing a difference.
