Low calorie high protein pancakes

I love pancakes, who doesn’t? This week I’m on vacation and have some time so I made myself some pancakes.
This is a healthier version! Not organic just lower on calories and higher in protein.
Follow the recipe on a Aunt Jemima box of pancake batter. Here’s the big substitution:
Half mix half protein powder, the recipe on my box calls for 1 cup of mix so I use 1/2 cup mix, 1/2 cup banana whey protein isolate.
The good thing about this is that the pancake batter isn’t as thick so you get more pancakes.
The original batter would have given me 6 pancakes at 390 calories total, with 84 grams of carbs.
The alternate with protein is 16 pancakes at 150 calories with 42 grams of carbs.
The pancakes come out super thin so fewer calories.
Remember to use a Pam/cooking spray and most importantly a pure maple syrup, it’s more expensive but because it’s a stronger flavour you use less and it’s a whole food, do its much better for you than a corn syrup based syrup.
