Saw a recipe the other day for this here.
So I decided to make it but in a healthier way. Here is how. (the red is my adjustments which cut the calories and fat)
No-Bake Strawberry Icebox Cake
2 pounds fresh strawberries, washed
3 1/4 cups whipping cream, divided Only used 1 tub of thawed Light whip cream that I mixed with a vanilla protein powder, it will need to be whipped)
1/3 cup confectioners sugar. no sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla no vanilla
1/2 teaspoon rosewater (optional) nope
4 sleeves (about 19 ounces, or 24 to 28 whole crackers) graham crackers 1 sleeve of whole grain graham crackers
2 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped no chocolate
I also added a low-fat instant lemon pudding which I made with skim milk. and placed it over the cracker layer.
With these adjustments the calories for serving size is
Fat: 7 grams
Protein 4: grams
