We all do it every once in a while but lath have you been bingeing more than usual? I tend to binge after a day of heavy exercise. There is usually two reasons this happens.
1) you might not be consuming enough calories.
2) it’s a habit that happens out of boredom.

You can combat this by keeping a food diary on a binge day. If you calculate your calories and your within 500 of your BMR than your problem might be boredom.
Our bodies like routines and after a while of eating in front of the t.v. your body will think that tv time is eating time, and you will want to eat for your whole show.
Separate food and couch time so your body doesn’t get confused it might even help you break a plateau!
