Busy Saturday

Usually I write about how to be healthy!1 Todays post well I guess kind of is in a nutshell.

I am taking  a little lunch break from the gardening. For the past 2 years my boyfriend and I have been growing a garden, just a small one. This year we have decided to expand it especially with the rising cost of food. Heres what were growing so far…..

Spring onions

Bell Peppers

and Cucumbers.

Growing your own garden is great, its healthy if you don’t use pesticides, your out there getting exercise and its better for the environment.

  1. My parents had a garden when I was growing up in Missouri. It was fun for the most part, but we had a bunch of annoying, biting insects to deal with.

I’ll never forget how good our corn was, though! It’s great to see that you’ll get to grow your own. 🙂

  2. We started a small garden this year. So far, we’re just growing tomatoes, bell peppers, and chili peppers, so I guess it’s kind of a salsa garden. It’s a fun start though, and if we’re successful this year, maybe we’ll expand next year. Good luck with yours!
