Step 1: Make your own whole wheat pie crust. I make 6 at a time and put them in aluminum pie plates and freeze them
Whole Wheat Pie Crust
1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/3 cup Olive Oil
4-5 Tablespoons cold water
Step 2: Open a can of split pea soup into a pan. Set to med-high bring to a boil. Set oven to 350.
Step 3: While bringing to a boil, chop up any leftovers you want to put in (I usually do chicken ( its already cooked, as its leftover), onions and broccoli)) to small bite size pieces.
Put all chopped ingredients in the pan with the soup and turn off heat. Allow to cool.
Step 4: Place contents of pan into pie crust, top how you like it. (I arrange jalepenos on top, like pizza topiings) than use an organic low fat cheese (usually Havarti as it goes well with Jalepenos). Than I put Hot Sauce on it(feel free to skip if you dont enjoy hot foods) Place a crust on top of it to keep all the ingredients in.
Step 5: Bake for 10-15 minutes or until your crust is golden brown.
Step 6: Remove from oven allow 5 minutes to cool.Serve.
