Aloo Ghost (Mutton Curry with Potatoes)

So good for you, If you dont want to use mutton try some beef

Ingredients:

  1. Mutton 1/2 kg.
  2. Potatoes (quarted) 4
  3. Onions (sliced)  4
  4. Tomatoes (sliced) 4
  5. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
  6. Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp.
  7. Coriander powder 1 1/2 tsp.
  8. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp.
  9. Salt 2 tsp.
  10. Cloves 5
  11. Whole black pepper 6
  12. Cumin seeds 1 tsp.
  13. Cinnamon 1/2 inch piece
  14. Black cardamon 1
  15. Oil 3 tbsp.

Method: 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Add meat, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and turmeric powder.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes.
  • Cover and cook till tomatoes are soft and oil separates.
  • Add 3 cups water and cook on low heat till meat is soft.
  • Now add potatoes, black cardamom, cloves, whole black pepper, cinnamon and cumin seeds.
  • Add water if needed.
  • Cover and cook till potatoes get tender.
  • Take out in a dish and serve with naan or boiled rice.
