The Pistachio Effect- eating fewer calories.

Pistachios are yummy and healthy for you, but we’re not really going to talk about pistachios rather their effect.
Studies from Eastern Illinois University have found that people who were served nuts in a shell consumed 40% less than those served the ready to eat version.
So the harder it is to consume a food the less likely you are to over eat.
My theory is that this works on things you make yourself. You know how much effort it takes to make a healthy batch of cookies so you eat them sparingly.
However as far as nuts go!! Pick the ones still in the shell, you will eat 40% fewer calories.
