Key Lime Protein Squares
So yummy!!! Like lemon squares…
2 egg whites
8ozs softened fat-free cream cheese
1/2 cup instant dry non-fat milk( try the bulk store)
1 tsp grated fresh lime zest
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
3/4 cup vanilla whey protein powder
3/4 stevia or Splenda
2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut
1 tablespoon of corn starch ( for thickening)
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350f
Step 2: Whisk full egg and egg whites in a small bowl.
Step 3: Combine cream cheese and the rest of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Step 4: Add eggs and blend until very well mixed.
Step 5: Coat an 8×8 pan with cooking spray and pour in batter.
Step 6: Bake 30-35 minutes or until butterknife comes out clean.
Fat: 1 gram
Carbs: 4 grams
Protein: 12 grams
