Being healthy means having your cake and eating it too!!!

One of the major reasons why I think I have been so successful at losing almost 70 pounds and keeping it off was treating myself. Diets only work as long as your on them.
Anyone who tells you they eat healthy all the time is either a saint or probably lying. Don’t get me wrong it is important to eat healthy, not just for weight loss but your overall health. I follow the principe of 80/20. I eat healthy 80% of the time and indulge 20% off the time not on a daily basis but more like month to month.
Let’s face it it’s not realistic to never enjoy a piece of cake or chocolate again, if you deny yourself there’s always that time you “snap” and binge.
If food isn’t seen as a reward and a crutch you won’t want to turn to it.
The more you allow small treats into your life, the easier and more rewarding it is to eat healthy more often.
Dont fall into diets,fads and shakes….. Just be healthy and a bit bad 🙂
